This Term we have been learning about S.T.E.M stand for Science , Technology , Engerneer and Math we have been learning all about it so we did a activity about what those S.T.E.M stand for and . Good moring everyone this  we are Term diong our inquiy  we have been learning .what is an double glazed window . A double glazed window is two pieces of glass that  can keep you warm more then a single glazed . When a double glazed in winter is the best idea the reason why because it can keep you warm when it is cold . As apart of our inquiry we have been looking at materails and house how they made and what is it. We look at buildings and we draw them and name what hve they have been.Something i learn was that there was brief history before every windows .Something that was diffculft was research all about windows . Talofa lava  and Hello everyone and  welcome to samoan language Week!! This week for samoan languege week we made  a samoan umu. An umu is a tradititoinal method of cooking food, common with among the Pacific island . We learnt that the umu predominatey/ mostly uses “thermal energy”. We started our day with a samoan prayer took a  group photo, checked on the umu and then had a very competitive game of kitikitit is a samoan cricket.The girls learnt and dance called the siva samoan the girls were so into that they learnt byheart they enjoyed learning something new

Something that i learnt is they food is deliouse and ther activity are very fun to play with your friends .What i enjoyed was the siva samoa dance it was so fun and sim ply to learn . I challenge you to learn the Siva samoa

Today we did a cybersmart challenge it was called All  about me  so we had .To make a poster about thing that we like  and also . A family photo and a photo of your self it show so thing that i like and . My cutral  and it show my fav it food i was so hungry from looking at it

Today we had a teacher to help out our teacher and my class  she tought us some fact about her name is Miss Toland she told us that she really like anime and harry potter.

The first thing we did was a Cybersmart it was Kawa of Care we did three Acitivity  some of them were so some rule that we should follow and one of them you have to put a picture of you self

(Today we had a anothe Art Day )

Today we had a A4 paper to think abot a mountin and lake/beach . I   chose Maungrie  for my mountin because it was my first moutin that i climebed and I can see it from my school . My beach/lake is Mishin bay because me and my family go swim there and have pincis there and once i made a friend there and we saw our uncle and Aunt there.

Then we drew  the moutin that we picked and then we drew the beach/lake that we picked it was hard because we had to make the mountin look good nand the beach/lake looke good after we drew our lake/beach we had to over line it with vived then we drew square and rocks around the moutin and the beach/lake  then we use pastels to colour them in my moutin was green and my beach/lake was blue and the sand bit was orange but we had to use two differet shades of the same colour and then we did our backround it look like a sunset  that was giong down here is the picture .

The Feast day of the Ascension

Friday the 25 of March me and my school went to church to celebrate the Feast of the Annuciation we sang song and we said the hail Mary ten time  . Why do we celebrate the feast of Annuciation   because God send one of his angel to tell Mary that she will have the son of God and his name will be Jesus and he is the son of god . what happens  Angel  Gabriel came done to Mary and said   Do not worry that god has been favor to you Mary said YES .

Why is import  to celebrate because all around  people are praying and celebrating at the same time.what did we do Rosary we said hail Mary ten time because the rosary mean that we pray to Mary and it all about Mary and about the feast day of Mary.Pope Francis has been praying for peace for Ukraine and Russian and there safety they have been in war and pope francis want to help them to have peace and love . The feast day of the Annuciation is when Mary said YES to the angel Gabriel.

This week it was St patrick day and soul friends we were paired up with a buddy and we spend time with them and get to know them we also went to church and sing song and pray it was so fun because we get to know them more and more my soulfriends wasn’t there but i got paired up with a another buddy she was so nice and sweet and her favorite sport was swimimg and that was my favourtie sport even tho my soulfriend wasn’t there i had a buddy and we like the same thing . We got paired up with TWP 8  i didn’t get the buddy i want it but it was fun after we came out of the church we had to get ready to be role modles for our soul friends it was hard because we had to do the right thing so they can follow on but it was easy for me because she was funny she had attuide and she was just like me so it wasn’t alot of work . We wore green because it was ST patrick day and green was the signture colour St patrick he was born by Roman parents .

St patrick real name was  Maewyn Succat he grouned up in ireland but he had roman parents he died around 120 at March 17 i don’t know what year but that the date and age he died . St patrick was kidnapped  when he was 16  by irish raiders and carried into slavery in ireland  . After six years  he had a dream to escape so he did and he escape . Patrick’s Day was originally celebrated in Ireland with religious services and feasts in honour of St. Patrick, one of Ireland’s patron saints. When Irish immigrants brought St. Patrick’s Day traditions , the day evolved into a secular celebration of Irish culture.

Today on St patrick day we also had sport day  we had 5 differet game for each group ther was 10 groups but we will vs  eachother the 5 game are Gutter ball,Relay race,baseball,soccer and ring toss it was so much fun put it was a comptentoin  the 2 team will vs each other before i tell you what happen next  please look below there is a challenge for down there so please look at before you read more after church we went into the hall and we sat down we had to go in 10 groups so they will tell you a number and you will go in that team me and my buddy were in team 8 my team was us team 7 we did have little kids but there were very fast and quick the other team had alot of older kids but we didn’t care .

After we got  sorted in our team it was lunch time but we had to help and set up the games me and my friends set up the socer game it was hard but we did it quick so we could go out and play it was very fun because we had to change into our sports gear and that mean we had to wear our green outfit it was weird not weraing our uniform but it was fun at the same time even do we some people didn’t have the some change the school gave us some green tirshirts to wear out . After lunch time it was game time  the first game we played was the soccer game it was hard to play because the other team was very good at playing soccer.

After we played my team loseed but it didn’t mater cause there are 4 more games the next game was the relay race me and the older kids let the little kids vs the little kids it wasn’t fair because some older kids was vs the little kids so we did it equal after this we went to Gutter ball,ring tos and then baseball after we played all of the game we went and sat down on the grass our princelpel told us that we had a treat that was that we got ice blocks when we go home i was very happy because it was a good day.
